SAJG Membership

Stuart Appleby Junior Golf offers membership to junior golfers from across Victoria and beyond. Currently SAJG has approximately 480 members, with some from NSW and QLD and even overseas. SAJG endeavours to promote a "sense of belonging" to its members, despite geographic spread and age and ability differences. Membership to the Stuart Appleby Junior Golf Foundation is open to boys and girls under 18 years of age. There is no floor on age level to become a member, but the child must be at least 6 years old to participate in any activity.

How much does the membership cost?

Membership for the 2010 calendar year has been set at only $20.00 (including GST) for the year.

What do I get for being a member?

All 2010 members receive a fantastic SAJG Player's Kit as per the image. New members for 2010 receive the SAJG Member's bag tag. Members also receive the opportunity to attend exclusive clinics with Stuart Appleby, and some other great "money-can’t-buy" opportunities. Members also receive discounts into SAJG events and member newsletters (4 per year).

Can I join at any time of the year?

Yes, you can join at any time of the year and your membership is valid until the end of that year. Renewals are sent out in early December for the following year with membership kits sent out in early January.

Do I need to have played golf before?

No. Stuart Appleby Junior Golf caters for all abilities. We have programs that introduce the skills of golf in a fun and relaxed format through our Big Golf Days Out programs. These experiences lead on to other coaching opportunities and 9 hole events where golf handicaps are not required.

How young can I join?

There is no minimum age requirement to being a member! To become a member simply download the Membership Form from the "How to Join" page and send it to:

Will I get to meet Stuart?

Yes, Stuart is extremely generous with his time and always eager to be involved in our programs. As well as attending a number of events, Stuart also runs his member exclusive clinic each year. Stuart is a great role model for young golfers, and is more than happy to share his experiences with members, sign autographs, etc.

Do I have access to coaching?

SAJG acknowledges the many coaching opportunities available to junior golfers. SAJG is seeking to embrace the great work being carried out by many golf professionals around the state. Is the membership value for money?

Yes, the membership pack alone is valued at over $40. This, together with the chance to be involved with one of the world’s leading golfers is an opportunity too good to miss out on.
